In many underserved communities, the senior portrait experience is about more than a photo. Seniors often lack access to the mentorship, creative outlets, and wellness support that help them step confidently into life after graduation. In the Dallas–Fort Worth area, at least half of high school seniors are economically disadvantaged, while others may face homelessness or exiting foster care. Without access to a senior graduate portrait experience and future-focused resources, they miss a milestone moment that helps them feel seen, celebrated, and ready for what comes next.
EmpowerPix exists to ensure underserved high school and college graduates feel seen, celebrated, and prepared for what comes next. Through photography, creative tools, and community mentorship, we help students build confidence and step into college, career, and life with purpose.
Our primary goal
To create equity in access to professional senior portraits for students who face economic or social barriers. Senior portraits are often a student’s first professional image and a meaningful milestone. We ensure this experience is not limited by income or circumstance.
